On 09 December 2025, Chairman Mr. Dasun Wickramarathna made a LKR 2.5 million donation to the Rebuild Sri Lanka foundation during a gathering at Gangaramaya Temple. The event was centred on a pirith chanting ceremony led by monks to bless Sri Lankans affected by Cyclone Ditwah and to transfer merit to those who lost their lives. The Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, attended alongside religious leaders, community representatives, and members of the public.

As part of the proceedings, Chairman Wickramarathna presented the donation to the Vice President of Rebuild Sri Lanka. He later shared his thoughts on the moment: “In the face of loss, communities look for steady hands and kind hearts. This contribution is intended to strengthen relief and rebuilding efforts so families can move forward with dignity and hope.” Funds will be directed to priority needs identified by organisers and local authorities.

The pirith chanting brought participants into a shared moment of reflection and compassion, framing the evening as both a spiritual observance and a practical call to help families restore homes, livelihoods, and daily routines. Gratitude was extended to the monks and administrators of Gangaramaya, event organisers, public officials, and volunteers whose coordination ensures aid reaches those most affected.
